The N.H. Therapeutic Cannabis Program has been operating with little fanfare and minimal public attention since it began serving patients in 2016. This year, we look forward to bringing this program out of the shadows and into the light at New Hampshire’s inaugural Cannabis Conference.
This first of its kind event will bring together patients, providers, policymakers, and the public to explore how cannabis is impacting health and wellness across the state.
With a theme of “Out of the Shadows, Into the Light,” the conference is designed to foster education, connection, and open conversation about therapeutic cannabis

This keynote will explore emerging research on cannabis consumption methods, highlighting how chemistry can help distinguish between smoking, vaping, and edibles, and how these differences shape individual experiences. Dr. Riley Kirk will present data on dosing with specific cannabis profiles and discuss how tailored approaches may benefit people managing anxiety, pain, or insomnia. The talk will also address the barriers to cannabis research created by federal restrictions and share innovative strategies researchers are using to collect meaningful, real-world data despite these challenges.
